New Developments in Magbie Death

The investigation into the circumstances which led to the tragic death of Jonathan Magbie is picking up. There are some positive developments to report.

1) Colbert King has a brilliant OpEd in today's Washington Post which contains this telling bit:

According to a Superior Court e-mail reply, on Sept. 21 -- the day after Magbie's sentencing and overnight stay in the hospital -- a CTF doctor contacted Judge Retchin's law clerk, informed her that Magbie needed a ventilator when he slept and inquired about procedures to transfer him to Greater Southeast [Hospital].
2) Loretta Nall continues her protest in front of DC Superior Court. Loretta soldiers on in spite of, as she describes to me, bogus threats of arrest for "libel" made by District prosecutors and other members of the court bureauacracy yesterday.

3) Loretta's husband Terry points out in comments at The D'Alliance, as does King in his OpEd, that a young Magbie was a White House guest of President Reagan on the day the president announced National Respiratory Therapy Week.

More on this, undoubtedly, in the coming days.
