Last week, I joined the other Alliance directors in New York for a big staff meeting. I loaded up my suitcase with "No More Drug War" bumper stickers and such to take back to the remote southwestern outpost that is the Drug Policy Alliance New Mexico.

In a world of patdowns, shoe removal and one carry-on per customer, imagine my surprise when I opened my bag to a note expressing sympathy for our cause from a Transportation Security Administration agent! You can read it here.
