Ruthless

If State Representative Ruth Jones McClendon (D-San Antonio) has her way, double jeopardy will be used to make sure people who have served time for drug offenses are made homeless and/or separated from their family and friends.

But it's fine. Dont' worry. It's all in the name, undoubtedly, of public safety.

The WOIA story is here. TV newscast on the story is here.

[Thanks, as usual, to Tom Angell of SSDP for the tip.]
