Medical Marijuana Users: Social Networking Website for Patients Acknowledges You!
A new social networking website PaientsLikeMe.com could be a great resource for those interested in sharing experiences about marijuana as medicine. There are already over 45 folks participating that list marijuana (also referred to as cannabis, but a search using either term seems to return the same results) as a currently-used treatment for a variety of conditions. In addition, there are more than 400 discussion forum posts that mention marijuana. This is according to the site stats. However, I'm having a little trouble finding them once logged in. This is a Beta and there seem to be a number of bugs still to be worked out.
You're going to have to register and give some personal information in order to access the community, but I encourage anyone who uses medical marijuana, or is thinking about it, to join this network. We can only benefit by beefing those user numbers up to continue building the reputation of marijuana as a viable treatment modality!
Now if only they could get the spelling of spelled "cannabis" correct throughout the site!
Thanks to Tom Angell over at SSDP for the heads up!
