Short and Sweet: Common Sense to Drug Policy

From the Letters to the Editor of the August 21st L.A. Times:

"For those who doubt this wisdom [moving all chemicals in the Controlled Substances Act from Schedule I to II, allowing research and prescription based upon science], the next time you or a loved one becomes ill, call a cop."

-Gene Tinelli MD, Jamesville, N.Y.

Simple, eloquent, and directly to the point. Sums up all that is wrong with our drug prohibition policy - cops and politicians handling things better left to doctors.
